EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Atlanta Caribbean American Steel band Association, Inc. (ACASA) is a non-profit community based organization, which provides in-school steel band orchestra instruction to youth, ages 6 to 18 in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area School Systems. The program provides a unique opportunity to students interested in learning about an unparalleled instrument that originated in Trinidad.

ACASA actively solicits sponsorship from foundations and private organizations. We utilize donations to partner with schools and setup the steel band orchestra program. Instruments and training materials are provided via sponsorship donations at no cost to the school. In return, our sponsors’ signage is displayed and students, parents and faculty are constantly reminded of the commitment made by the foundation or organization.

OBJECTIVE:
• To further enhance the current musical arts curriculum in Atlanta Metropolitan Area School
Systems, by offering a unique and original musical program for students.

• To educate, students, parents and faculty through concert series, on the culturally diverse
Steel band, while offering opportunities for students to play and showcase skills they
   have learned on the instruments.

• To provide scholarship opportunities to qualified high school students.

• To offer scholarships to those eligible students.
